Ready Reacher

Product Purpose The hand reacher enables people who have pain in areas including their back and hip and also people with reduced hand function to reach items on the floor or in difficult to reach areas without the need to bend or stretch. The reacher can also be used to help with dressing.
Product Description This lightweight 'Ready Reacher' hand reacher weighs just 206 grams and helps people to pick objects up from on the floor or reach objects in high places without the need to bend, stretch or climb. Such actions can be extremely difficult and painful for individuals who suffer from back, knee, hip or other types of pain and so the Ready Reacher can be used to prevent such pain. The simplicity of the reacher also allows people with reduced hand function to pick items up much more easily.

The reacher has a two-fingered trigger action which controls the serrated jaws. The design of the jaws helps them to firmly grip items so that they can safely be lifted with little effort from the user. The reacher also has a magnet so that metal objects can be retrieved extremely easily. This is very helpful for items such as keys which can be difficult for people with arthritic hands to grip.

Attached to the reacher is a clip so that it can be stored in an easily accessible place. The clip can also be used to attach the reacher to a walking frame, rollator or other mobility aid so that it can be used both in and out of the house. The reacher is available in two different sizes.
