The NRS Healthcare Nuvo Bath Lift has been designed with individuals and carers in mind. Getting into and out of the bath or helping someone to do so is a very difficult task. It requires a great deal of strength and puts a lot of stress on muscles and joints. The Nuvo Bath Lift however makes it an extremely easy task and removes the stresses and risks which are involved.

The lift has a slimline design which gives excellent leg room and submersion for the user. This is aided by the ability to use the bath lift in an upright position for maximum leg room or reclined to the preferred position. Position changes are made quickly and smoothly at the push of a button. The bath lift has a sleek and modern design so that it doesn't look out of place in any bathroom but at the same time it provides maximum comfort and safety.

The bath lift also lowers to a staggering 60 millimetres making it one of the lowest height models available on the market today. As the back reclines, the seat tilts upwards so that the user has maximum support. This prevents the user from slipping forward and ensures that they stay stable and feel comfortable in using the bath lift. The back rest is high and also offers support for the head so that there is no pressure on the neck muscles when the lift tilts backwards.

The handset has been ergonimcally designed and is fully waterproof. The handset also floats rather than sinking and has a suction cup on the back so that it can be secured to the bath. The buttons are raised, textured and finished in blue to aid visually impaired users. The lift also has removable side flaps allowing for easy transfer and offering additional support when lowering and raising.

The modular construction of the bath lift makes it easy to install, remove, store and clean and prevents manual handling issues which a lot of other bath lifts on the market have. The Nuvo bath lift is also much lighter than most other lifts but without compromising on strength and features. The heaviest part of the bath lift is just 5.8 kilograms and all of the individual parts simply clip together. A single point sucker release mechanism enables quick and easy removal.

The battery is both safe and powerful and has an audio and visual low level indicator. If there is insufficient power in the battery to raise the user back up again, the battery will not lower the lift in the first place. This excellent feature prevents the user from getting stuck in the bath when they might not be able to contact anyone or get out by themselves.

The Nuvo bath lift is supplied with a two year seat and component guarantee (battery guarantee is one year).
